Eileen Quigley - songwriter/singer
Born in the Gorbals, Glasgow of Irish parents and raised in the south side of the Scottish city, Eileen has been living in the West Midlands, UK for several years.
Some of Eileen's songs are written from personal experience, some are reflections on the world, some are social commentary and others are from general observations.
Having been a regular participant at the Songwriting Circle at mac, Birmingham, led by singer/songwriter Dan Whitehouse, Eileen recorded her debut EP at Dan's studio in Dudley.
The four track EP 'Jumpers for Goalposts' is out now on all major download platforms and as a CD or digital download on link in menu above.
Eileen's live performances have included the The Grain Store , Wolverhampton Songwriting Circle showcase at the mac, Birmingham, Songwriting Circle on the road at the Crescent theatre, Birmingham and the Arena theatre, Wolverhampton. Songwriters nights at the White Lion, Walsall No Covers Club, Lichfield and Crescent theatre, Birmingham. Previous gigs also include Oxjam Shrewsbury and Stratford Beer festival.
